Sierra Leonean physiotherapy trainee receives first place for Poster presentation

ReSurge Africa would like to say Congratulations to Balansama Janneh, Physiotherapy trainee, on gaining a first place in collaboration with your co-presenter and classmate Jothish Kumar on your Poster presentation at the Flair annual conference for Physiotherapy, in India.   Well done! we are proud of you.

Bala’s physiotherapy training in India is funded by ReSurge Africa and Jersey Overseas Aid.  He is due to complete his training and take up his place at Holy Spirit Hospital in 2021.  In the Interim ReSurge is developing the physiotherapy service at HSH and supporting the training of a rehabilitation team and providing vital Physiotherapy equipment, in readiness for his return.

We would also like to thank Professor Raja Sabapathy from Ganga hospital for the support and mentorship that he has provided for the duration of Bala’s training.
